Position Description

The University of Washington Information School is recruiting graduate students for the LIS 550 hourly Reader/Grader position. Qualifications are based on prior course work, skill level, experience, and schedule availability.

LIS 550 - Information and Society 

LIS 550 A: Online

This position will work up to a maximum of 15 Hours/Week.

Responsibilities may include some or all of the following duties:

Prepare and grade exams and papers, maintain grading records, manage and respond to course related email, attend instructor/employee meetings, attend lectures and office hours, act as a liaison between students and the instructor, and review literature.


• Graduate students enrolled at the University of Washington Information School as of Autumn 2017
• Experience with Canvas
• Strong interest in working with students having varying skill levels
• Proficiency in the course content


$15.35- $17.10 per hour based on experience.
